We learn from past to develop a better future. Mr Luigi Greca, the founder of Ascot Srl, will continue to rule the company leaded by the new Investment company with a brand new and energetic team. Mr Luigi Greca is still the memory history of the new company; he began his activity in 1960, working for Eni-Agip, the industrial group which made the history of capitalism in the energy sector. For over twenty years, his life was devoted to the construction and maintenance of petrol-chemical plants both in Italy and Africa, thanks to wich he gained great entrepreneurial abilities which led him to set up Ascot in 1973. The know how concerning safety, reliability and special attention on the quality of the product were soon to become the guidelines of the firm and in 1994 Ascot was to be the first firm in the energy sector in Italy to be awarded the quality certification UNI EN ISO 9001 and as well as the NATO AQAP 110 certification for military supply. In conformity with the best “made in Italy” tradition, the firm was run by the whole Greca family, but with management style, and it is with special thanks to the restless work of Mike, the first-born, that Ascot has been able to reinforce its presence on both the African and Middle-Eastern market over the last two decades.
